Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Machine Operator - Injection Molding to join their team.
As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the production team supporting efficient manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Machine Operator - Injection Molding
Location: Philmont, NY
Pay Range:
$26.00/hr
Shift:
3rd Shift- Monday-Friday- 11:00pm-7:00am
What's the Job?
Start up, adjust, and operate various production machines to ensure proper and efficient operation.
Conduct quality inspections while the line is running, checking samples for compliance with specifications.
Respond to problems on the line, making necessary adjustments to machines.
Maintain cleanliness in the work area and enforce all safety and housekeeping policies.
Assist with training other Technician Operators on various aspects of the job.
What's Needed?
High school education or equivalent, plus mechanical training/aptitude.
1 to 3 years of experience operating machines in the packaging/plastics industry.
Basic to intermediate computer skills, including the use of CNC machines.
Ability to perform practical applications of arithmetic and geometry.
Strong reasoning skills to solve practical problems and interpret various instructions.
