Job Description

The Locum Cardiac Anesthesiologist is responsible for providing anesthesia care to patients undergoing cardiac surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cardiac anesthesia and be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

Provide anesthesia care to patients undergoing cardiac surgical procedures
Develop and implement anesthesia plans
Monitor patients during surgery and make adjustments to the anesthesia plan as needed
Manage pain and provide postoperative care
Educate patients and families about anesthesia and postoperative care
Collaborate with other members of the cardiac surgical team
Participate in quality improvement activities

Qualifications:

MD or DO degree
Board certification in Anesthesiology
Fellowship training in Cardiac Anesthesia
Strong clinical skills and judgment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
