Litigation Associate

Amundsen Davis seeks a litigation associate to join its Chicago office. Successful candidates must be licensed in Illinois and have at least two full years of civil litigation and billing experience. General responsibilities include representing clients in all aspects of litigation including court hearings and conferences, performing all aspects of oral and written discovery; conducting extensive fact investigation/development and legal research; drafting pleadings, client reports, and affidavits; engaging in active motion practice in both state and federal court, including dispositive motions; and trial preparation and trial work. A strong work ethic, careful attention to detail, analytical abilities, solid writing skills, and the ability to work well on a team are a must. Willingness to be in the office at least three to four days a week is preferred. Please submit your resume, law school transcript if available, and 2 writing samples.
