Job Description
Our client, a leader in the food manufacturing industry, is seeking a Line Packers for the third shift to join their team. This a temporary opportunity. As a Line Packer, you will be part of the production team supporting the efficient manufacturing of high-quality products. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and excellent communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Line Packers - 3rd Shift
Location: Shirley, NY
Pay Range:
$17.50 - $18.00 per hour
Schedule : Monday - Friday 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM
What's the Job?
Responsible for performing various general plant tasks, including packaging, feeding product to the line, and making boxes.
Assist in the assembly or packaging of the product to ensure good quality is maintained.
Act as a back-up Machine Operator as needed for coverage purposes.
Adhere to Food Safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and Health and Safety policies at all times.
Follow the company's core values of Respect, Direct Communication, and Quality in all tasks.
What's Needed?
2+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in the food and dairy manufacturing industry.
Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend basic English.
Good hand and manual dexterity with the ability to stand for long periods.
Flexibility to work rotating and/or weekend shifts.
