Job Description

Overview: Our client, an award-winning high-end design and custom home builder, is seeking an Licensed Interior Designer to join their design team on a full-time, permanent basis, supporting their growing pipeline of custom home projects.

Duties

Develop accurate, to-scale interior drawings that reflect the intended spatial layout and design concept.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of materials, color theory, balance, and spatial relationships and effectively communicate these design elements to clients, internal teams, and external partners.
Generate multiple creative design concepts, translate them into sketches or digital visuals, and present them clearly and confidently to clients for feedback and approval.
Collaborate closely with architects, project managers, vendors, and trade partners to ensure alignment and understanding across all stakeholders, from concept through execution.
Convert design concepts into digital formats compatible with our web-based project management system, ensuring accessibility and visibility for the full project team.
Adhere to project timelines, consistently meeting key milestones and delivery deadlines.

Requirements

NCIDQ Licensed Interior Designer and board certified in Texas.
Bachelors degree in a relevant field
3-5 years experience minimum
Prior experience on new construction and remodeling is preferred.
