We are currently recruiting for an outstanding staff attorney with 7+ years of experience in an advice & counsel capacity. Our L&E practice group prides itself on employing attorneys with expertise in their fields who can take ownership of matters. The ideal candidate should excel in the following areas: Counseling employers in areas of California and Federal employment law Drafting employment agreements and policies, including employee handbooks Conducting complex internal fact investigations and analysis Conducting audits of employer wage and hour and HR practices Self-starter who requires minimal oversight Candidates with experience working in both a law firm setting and in-house roles would be preferred Employment defense litigation experience would be helpful, but is not required, as this is not a litigation role Resume, cover letter, and law school transcript are required to apply. This is a non-partner-track Staff Attorney position, primarily assisting one partner in our Orange County office. While this role is based in Orange County, we will also consider qualified candidates in Century City, Del Mar, or Downtown San Diego.
