Job Description

O?Melveny?s Silicon Valley Litigation Department is seeking an attorney with four to six years of experience to work in its Labor & Employment Practice Group. Candidates should have a range of experience to handle the following types of matters: non-compete, trade secret, and employee mobility disputes; employee misconduct investigations; single plaintiff harassment, discrimination and retaliation lawsuits and arbitrations; executive compensation disputes; day-to-day employment law counseling; drafting employment, severance and non-competition agreements; and assisting on labor and employment law aspects of M&A transactions.
The ideal candidate should be highly motivated with outstanding interpersonal skills, strong writing, analytical, and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team. The position offers the candidate the opportunity to assume significant responsibility to work directly with clients, manage complex cases, take and defend key depositions, make court appearances at important hearings, handle mediations, and other related work typically handled by mid-level associates.

The salary range in Silicon Valley for this role is $310,000 - $420,000 and represents the firm?s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate?s experience, qualifications, and location.
