Labor Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Compliance Specialist to oversee and ensure regulatory compliance within our construction projects. The Compliance Specialist will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring compliance programs, ensuring the company adheres to all local, state, and federal regulations, industry standards, and internal policies. This role requires a strong understanding of construction laws and risk management strategies to mitigate legal and operational risks.

• Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and standards related to construction projects
• Implement and maintain a compliance management system to assess, monitor, and enforce adherence to regulatory standards
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation and training related to compliance programs, policies, and procedures
• Provide guidance on contractual clauses related to compliance and risk management
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address compliance-related concerns proactively and pursue any corrective actions
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance requirements are integrated into all project phasesfrom planning and procurement to execution and close-out
• Prepare regular compliance reports for internal stakeholders, highlighting areas of risk, non-compliance, and improvement initiatives
• Prepare regular compliance reports for external stakeholders meeting contractual requirements
• Analyze the financial impact of compliance risks and regulatory violations, including potential fines, penalties, and legal fees, and provide recommendations for strategies to mitigate these risks
• Liaise with regulatory agencies, legal teams, and external consultants on compliance-related matters
• Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory inquiries or inspections

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Construction Management, Business Administration, Law, or a related field preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in compliance management
• Ability to interpret and apply complex legal and regulatory frameworks
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), compliance management software, and audit tools

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) or other relevant certification(s)

The State of New York requires CS Energy, LLC to include a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role. A reasonable estimate of the range for this role is $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 Starting rate of pay may vary based on various factors, including, but not limited to an individual's experience and expertise. Certain roles are also eligible for bonuses, subject to CS Energy's discretion and based on factors such as individual and/or organizational performance.
