Lab Technician

Our client, a fortune 500 company, is looking for a Lab Technician, for a 12+ month contract for a 100% onsite role in Maplewood MN. In this role you will be conduct formulation and coating experiments that mimic customer processes for electrode formation. These processes are less developed and require attention to detail, understanding of experimental methods, and accurate record keeping.

Job Title: Lab Technician

Location: Maplewood MN (100% onsite)

Pay Range: $18 to $21 p/h depending upon experience

What's the Job?

Running materials characterization tests such as laser light scattering, surface area analysis, and gravimetric analysis.

Assists with compiling, analyzing, interpreting, and documenting results. Ability to follow procedures and methods and to work well on a self-directed team is required.

Will conduct formulation and coating experiments that mimic customer processes for electrode formation.

Require attention to detail, understanding of experimental methods, and accurate record keeping.

Must be computer literate with good communication and time management skills.

What's Needed?

Bachelors degree or higher (Chemistry or Engineering preferred)

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including statistics and data analysis

One year or more working in a laboratory testing environment (school or professional setting)

Require attention to detail, understanding of experimental methods, and accurate record keeping.
