Lab Technician

Our client, a leading manufacturer in the polymer industry, is seeking a Lab Technician to join their team. As a Lab Technician, you will be part of the Quality Control department supporting the testing and analysis of films and substrates. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work in a team environment.

Job Title: Lab Technician

Location: Maplewood, MN

Pay Range:

$24.00/hour

What's the Job?

Conduct physical and optical properties testing of films and substrates

Carry out chemical mixing and coating experiments with films

Analyze test results

Other duties as assigned

What's Needed?

High school diploma or GED; Two year technical or Associates degree from an accredited university (preferred)

Minimum 1 (one) year experience with conducting testing of polymer materials in a laboratory environment

Minimum 1 (one) year experience with Microsoft Excel

Ability to lift 50 lbs

Previous technical training applicable to laboratory procedures, skills and methods (preferred)

Experience with testing films (preferred)
