We regularly attract judicial clerks from the United States Supreme Court, Federal Appellate and District Courts and many state courts. We invite you to explore the possibility of a post-clerkship associate position with our firm. Approximately 40 percent of the lawyers in Jenner & Block?s Litigation Department are former judicial clerks. We are interested in candidates who are looking for: We are currently seeking talented post-clerk associates to join our Investigations, Compliance, and Defense Practice in the New York office in Fall 2025.The successful candidate can expect to work on a wide variety of complex matters. Duties include client counseling, oral advocacy before a variety of courts and governmental agencies, fact development, legal research, strategic analysis, and writing. Compensation is top of market. The firm pays a market competitive clerkship bonus to those who join immediately following a clerkship with the Supreme Court of the United States, a federal appellate court, a federal district court, or a state's highest court. The starting base salary for this position is expected to be $225,000 - $260,000 annually. Actual salary will be determined based on skills, experience (to the extent relevant) and other job-related factors, consistent with applicable law.
