Job Description


Carlton Fields is seeking an Intellectual Property (IP) associate with two to five years of patent and trademark prosecution and IP transaction experience. The ideal candidate will effectively manage day-to-day prosecution and litigation tasks and independently prepare USPTO filings, court pleadings, discovery requests and responses, and effectively communicate with other lawyers. Experience drafting IP agreements and software agreements and IP diligence in MA transactions is a plus. Excellent academic credentials, demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, an entrepreneurial spirit, and practical judgment are required. Candidates must be currently admitted to practice in Florida, Georgia, California, DC or New York.Florida. A USPTO registration number or patent bar eligibility is strongly preferred.
