GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The WyomingDepartment of Health, Public Health Preparedness and Response Unit, is seeking a strong leader to serve as the Budget and Grants Coordinator (Healthcare Preparedness Program Manager). This position is responsible for the daily management and strategic direction of the statewide Healthcare Preparedness Program (HPP).
The successful candidate will oversee federal grant funding from the Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR), coordinate with a statewide network of hospitals and emergency medical services (EMS) agencies, and serve as a key decision-maker during high-stress public health and medical emergencies. This role leads the statewide HPP by establishing strategic goals to ensure Wyoming's hospitals, healthcare facilities, and EMS systems are prepared to expand surge capacity and respond effectively during disasters.

Bachelor's Degree (typically in Business)
Experience:
0-3 years of progressive work experience (typically in Business) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Grants and Contracts Administration Specialist II

Education & Experience Substitution:
4-6 years of progressive work experience (typically in Business) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Grants and Contracts Administration Specialist II
