Healthcare Litigation Associate

Davis Wright Tremaine LLP is seeking a midlevel Healthcare Litigation associate attorney with a minimum of three years' experience to join its Healthcare practice group. The candidate will join a team representing healthcare providers in a wide range of matters, including litigation, government investigations, regulatory matters, and transactions. We are looking for candidates with litigation experience including responsibility for pleadings, motions, discovery, and depositions. Experience representing healthcare clients is a plus but not required. The candidate must be or become a member of the Washington State Bar. This is a great opportunity for a confident, self-motivated associate with a desire to build a comprehensive practice in a collegial environment. This position will be based out of the Seattle office. We welcome candidates who currently live elsewhere but are interested in relocating to Seattle and encourage candidates to apply! Relocation and bar expenses are paid when applicable per DWT policy. We prefer candidates with law firm, judicial clerkship or government experience, an entrepreneurial mindset, a strong client-service ethic and outstanding interpersonal skills. The annualized salary range for this position in Washington is $225,000 to $330,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on the candidate?s education, training, experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. Full time employees may be eligible for a bonus and health insurance with an optional HSA, long term disability, dental insurance, vision care, life insurance, Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, 401(k), vacation, sick time, 10 paid holidays each year and an employee assistance program. For full-time employees, the initial sick leave benefit is 80 hours of sick leave per year. Attorneys generally take approximately three weeks of vacation from work each year, and it may vary depending on the needs of the clients and the firm.
