Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented, well-organized, and dedicated Licensure and Enrollment Specialist Staff Attorney to support the Healthcare Practice Group?s newly-formed healthcare licensure and enrollment solutions business unit. This position will involve preparing and submitting various licensure and enrollment applications, tracking reporting obligations and deadlines, following up with regulatory agencies regarding the status of said applications and ensuring that they are processed accurately, completely and timely. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, the ability to maintain and manage large amounts of data and a strong client-service orientation.
Position Responsibilities:
- Preparation of Requests for Information: Gather and prepare ?Requests for Information? to ensure all required information for applications is collected in a digestible and efficient manner.
- Licensure and Enrollment Applications: Prepare licensure and enrollment applications, along with corresponding cover letters, to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Tracking Application Deadlines: Maintain and manage application timelines, tracking deadlines for submission and follow-up actions to ensure timely processing.
- Research and Reporting: Conduct research to compile charts outlining licensure and enrollment reporting obligations and deadlines, across multiple jurisdictions and with various regulatory bodies.
- Communication with Regulators: Engage with regulators to clarify questions regarding licensure and enrollment applications and processes. Provide timely updates to working group.
- Organizational Charts: Create ownership organizational diagrams for licensure and enrollment applications; understand and maintain various client organizational charts with multiple entities and businesses.
- Closing Binders: Prepare comprehensive closing binders for licensure and enrollment matters, ensuring that all work product is appropriately filed and accessible for internal and client reference.
- Licensure and Enrollment Diligence Review: Review licensure and enrollment diligence documentation.
- Project Management: Oversee and manage the progress of multiple licensure and enrollment projects, ensuring they are completed efficiently, on time, and in accordance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Internal Communication: Communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels of the firm, providing clear updates, guidance, and support regarding licensure and enrollment matters.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) required.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
- Proficiency in Word and PowerPoint, particularly with updating and creating organizational charts.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, ensuring smooth coordination of licensure and enrollment projects.
- Strong service orientation with a focus on client and team needs.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with appropriate discretion.
- Prior experience with regulatory agencies and/or healthcare licensure and enrollment requirements is preferred.

Location: Nashville, TN (Will consider a flexible schedule, with a mix of in-office and remote work days)
