Healthcare Associate

Nelson Mullins is seeking a mid-level Associate to join its Healthcare group in Raleigh, North Carolina. As an AmLaw100 firm, this will offer a unique opportunity to a lateral associate who wants to be part of a dynamic team. This is an in-office position.

You will be joining a skilled group of attorneys who provide legal representation attuned to the sensitive nature and intensity of oversight involved in healthcare transactions, claims, and regulatory matters.

We are seeking an associate with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in healthcare regulatory and transactional matters. The ideal candidate will have a background in healthcare privacy, security, and technology issues, including telehealth initiatives, and an excellent working knowledge of HIPAA in particular. Strong research, analytical, and contract drafting skills are preferred. Candidates who do not have an IAPP CIPP/US certification should be willing to obtain such certification in the near future. Candidates should be comfortable conveying innovative ideas and taking ownership of matters in a fast-paced environment.

Exceptional written and oral advocacy skills and strong academic credentials are essential. Admission to the North Carolina State Bar in good standing is required.
