Furnace Operator - $18.00 - $20.00 + / Hour (.50 shift diff for 2nd shift)

What will you be doing?

Set up and operation of heat treatment furnaces and machines

Perform process inspections to ensure parts are processed to customer specification

Preventative maintenance and continuous improvement including excellent housekeeping skills and a willingness to participate in 5S activities.

Meet production schedules

Operation of forklift and hand power tools

Full participation in the mission and values of Metals Engineering

Promote and participate in safety regulations and procedures

Ability to demonstrate a logical, detailed, disciplined approach to equipment operation

Strong desire to be an excellent team member and support other team members on your shift, on other shifts, and across locations

Willingness to learn and grow both personally and professionally

High School Diploma or equivalent

Solid past work history

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
