Millennium's Geospatial specializes in the most advanced and reliable fiber optic cable network designs, fiber to the home designs (FTTH) designs, fiber optic engineering, and a full complement of related support.

As a Design Engineer at Millennium Geospatial, you will play a pivotal role in bringing our groundbreaking ideas to life. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, design, and develop innovative solutions that address real-world challenges in the Broadband industry. From initial concept to final product, you will have the opportunity to make meaningful contributions and see your ideas come to fruition.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design and drafting of fiber optic cable design (Aramis experience preferred)
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and utility maps
• Interpret and analyze utility data and measurements supplied from the field technicians
• Knowledge of FTTH
• Knowledge of utility design requirements, materials, and plan production
• Utility records updates
• AutoCAD and GIS utility plans
• Permit submittals and coordination
• Utility coordination
• As-built and GIS Updates
• Project management

• Knowledge and experience with Engineering Consulting and Geospatial Services in the Telecommunications industry
• Leading with genuine curiosity to learn and understand the challenges of prospects and clients
• Ability to make connections, build relationships and lasting partnerships
• Comfort level in working with technology tools; CRM, ERP and vendor portals.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently and prioritize tasks.
• Ability to understand, read and interpret data.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
