Full-Charge Bookkeeper

Thrive Commercial Partners is currently seeking an experienced full-charge bookkeeper to be responsible for accounting procedures in our Colorado Springs office.

Primary responsibilities include handling all aspects of payroll and accounts payable and receivable, preparing annual budgets, and reconciling all accounts.

This is a Full-Time, in office, position 40 hours per week; salary is $25-$30 per hour, commensurate with experience. Standard office hours are M-F from 8am-5pm.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Managing all accounts payables and receivables.

Processing all aspects of payroll.

Remitting payroll taxes, sales taxes, use taxes, and income taxes.

Maintaining an accurate system of accounts via accounting and bookkeeping software (QuickBooks).

Reconciling bank accounts, monthly property bank statements and credit card transactions for multiple investment properties.

Recording tenant receipts and making bank deposits.

Updating monthly billings and job cost invoices for maintenance technicians.

Preparing all monthly and quarterly financial statements and related reports.

Accounting for fixed assets.

Collecting information as needed for the annual audit and/or preparing accounting records for the CPA.

Monitoring cash levels.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required.

3+ years of previous experience.

Advanced knowledge of, and proficiency in, accounting and bookkeeping software (QuickBooks).

Experience preparing financial statements and tax returns.

Prior experience in commercial real estate industry highly desired, but not required.

Ability to work under a strict deadline.
