Job Description

Lynx Therapeutics has an immediate need for a receptionist to perform the following:

Greet and acknowledge each customer as soon as they arrive
Answer the phone in a timely manner and direct calls
Take and relay messages
Provide information to callers
Deal with queries from the public and customers
Receive and sort mail and deliveries
Accurately process sales
Issue refunds and credits
Maintain accurate records of transactions
Maintain a neat, tidy and orderly work area
Ability to learn quickly and follow directions accurately

Requirements

Education and Experience

High school diploma
Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
Basic mathematical knowledge
Experience dealing with money
Knowledge of computers and experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) preferable
