Description of Job
General Information:
Under the guidance of the Facilities Operations Manager, The Facilities Specialist will serve
History Colorado's sites in the Denver Metro area in operating, maintaining, and repairing
building systems ensuring their functionality. This position will be responsible for general
cleaning, maintenance and repair support and management. Daily report location will be the
History Colorado Center with the potential to be deployed to other Denver facilities as needed.
This position will work collaboratively with all appropriate internal divisions (Community Museum
Operations, Collections, Exhibits and Interpretation, Education, Event Rentals etc.) on
programming and operational needs. The Facilities Specialist will work as a team member and
is expected to take direct responsibility for the organization, coordination, and successful
operations of the areas assigned.
