Estate & Tax Planning Associate

The Newport Beach, California Fashion Island office of Frost Brown Todd LLP -- a full-service AM Law 200 firm with more than 600 attorneys in 18 offices and 9 states plus Washington D.C. -- seeks an associate with 5-7 years of experience working in estate and tax planning, trust administration and business succession planning to join our Private Client & Wealth Planning Practice Group. Successful candidates will have a strong background in gift and estate tax matters, advanced estate tax planning, preparation of SLATs, IDGTs, ILITs, CRTs, GRATS and other irrevocable trust planning tools. This opportunity is to assist a team dedicated to excellence and for direct client contact for HNW and UHNW clients in the Family Office Practice area of our firm. Speed, accuracy and a commitment to meeting clients? objectives are necessary to excel in this position. Applicants must also have a strong academic record, excellent research and writing skills, and the ability to work as part of team.

The salary range for this role accounts for the wide range of factors considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $220,000-$235,000. Actual salary will be determined based on skills, relevant experience, and other-job related factors, consistent with applicable employment laws.
