As a Document Review Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our operations by ensuring all legal documentation is meticulously reviewed and meets the highest standards of accuracy and compliance. Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough reviews of legal documents and contracts to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant policies, regulations, and industry standards.
- Identify and correct discrepancies or inconsistencies in documents, communicating necessary changes to relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain organized records of document reviews, revisions, and supporting documentation.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline document workflows and improve review efficiency.
- Provide support to other departments regarding documentation and compliance issues as needed.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes that may impact documentation processes.
- Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive legal information at all times.
- Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- Prior experience in legal document review, compliance, or contract analysis is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of legal terminology, contractual agreements, and document management best practices.
- Exceptional attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to identify key information within complex documents.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting findings and collaborating with stakeholders.
- Proficiency with document management systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and electronic discovery (e-discovery) platforms is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- High degree of professionalism, responsibility, and discretion when handling confidential information.
