Job Description

Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP is seeking a mid-level Corporate Associate to join our Century City office.

As our Century City office continues to grow, we are searching for a mid-level associate with 4-6 years of experience in Mergers & Acquisitions and Private Equity. This is a partnership-track position that offers great growth opportunities.

Sheppard Mullin is a global Am Law 100 full-service law firm with over 1,200 attorneys across 16 offices worldwide. The Century City office currently has approximately 130 attorneys who practice in a variety of areas including, Business Litigation, Corporate Transactions, Real Estate, Entertainment, Intellectual Property, and more.
At Sheppard Mullin, we train our Associates and help them grow as lawyers, and part of that training involves early and frequent work directly with clients. Our energetic team of corporate attorneys work with interesting and cutting-edge clients ranging from private to public companies, startups, and emerging businesses to international corporations, and they span a diverse range of industries including aerospace and defense, consumer products, electronics, entertainment, financial services, food and beverage, manufacturing, retail, and technology.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

4-6 years of experience in mergers & acquisitions, private equity, and/or joint venture agreements
Drafting and negotiating purchase and merger agreements
Managing deal teams throughout the transaction process
Excellent oral communication, writing, research, and analytical skills
