Parsons Behle & Latimer has an opening in our Rexburg, Idaho office for a corporate/real estate attorney with 3+ years of experience. Parsons is a regional law firm that has national expertise in numerous practice areas. The firm is at the forefront of the legal communities in Utah, Nevada, Idaho, Montana and the Intermountain Region. Requirements and Qualifications: Familiarity with a wide variety of transaction types (e.g., private company, stock purchase, asset purchase, etc.) Significant experience structuring and forming corporations, limited liability companies, partnerships, and other business arrangements Experience with buying, selling, or leasing residential or commercial properties Ability to draft and review contracts, negotiate terms, and ensure all legal requirements are met during the transaction process Ability to assist clients in securing financing for real estate transactions and review loan agreements, negotiate terms and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations Familiarity with land use and zoning regulations and assist in obtaining permits, variances, or rezoning approvals for development projects Juris Doctorate from an accredited university law school Admitted to practice in Idaho or ability to be admitted by motion Ability to multi-task and prioritize is essential Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Good judgment, responsiveness, and perseverance Strong academic credentials The firm's competitive compensation and benefits package includes medical and dental coverages, generous retirement benefits, life insurance coverage, and short-term and long-term disability coverages.
