The ideal candidate will have experience in all aspects of general commercial litigation including experience with alternative dispute resolution and regulatory work. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Strong research, writing skills, and academic record. Experience in all aspects of general commercial litigation. Experience in New York State and federal courts. Experience drafting and responding to initial pleadings and discovery. Experience drafting and arguing motions. Experience taking and defending depositions, including expert depositions. Experience with ADR and international arbitration. Experience with administrative and/or regulatory law with specific emphasis on FDA experience. Trial experience a plus but not required. Large law firm experience preferred. Work Environment & Physical Demands This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment including, but not limited to computers, telephones, printers, and copiers. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for a position. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this position is $230,000 - $257,500 in New York.
