Vinson & Elkins (V&E) is seeking one or more skilled and highly highly motivated associates associates with at least two to join five years of experience preferred to join its nationally recognized Government Contracts practice group based in Washington, D.C. V&E?s team supports clients in a wide range of issues related to federal procurement, including bid protests, claims and disputes, False Claims Act (FCA) investigations and litigation, compliance matters, grants, cybersecurity, and due diligence in M&A transactions. The successful candidate(s) will have a demonstrated interest in government contracts and, for a junior level position, at least 2 years of government contracts-related experience or, for a mid-level position, at least 5 years of such experience, preferably in a law firm or a federal agency. Law school coursework related to government contracts is preferred but not required. Excellent writing skills and a strong academic background are required.
