Job Description


Candidate for this position will have an undergraduate degree or a paralegal certificate from an ABA approved program with at least 3 to 5 years' experience. The position is responsible for all aspects of real estate purchase and financing including: Review and interpretation of title documents Drafting opinions of title Review of purchase and sale contracts Drafting of closing statements, deeds, UCC financing statements and other documents needed to close a transaction The person will need to work autonomously and be a part of a team and must be able to prioritize multiple complex projects. This position involves heavy client interaction, which requires good organizational, written and oral communication skills. Candidates must be proficient in all Microsoft applications, Soft Pro and Pro Trust and experience with South Carolina transactions is a plus. Candidates must be proficient in billing time and managing minimum billable hour expectations.
