Job Description
Johnston Allison Hord is seeking an experienced attorney to join our Commercial Real Estate Practice Group (CREPG) in Charlotte, NC. Our CREPG, comprised of 11 attorneys, represents clients in building their businesses, real estate portfolios, commercial developments, and communities. Four or more years of experience is preferred but not required. Experience in two or more of the following areas preferred but not required: Represent Representing clients in commercial real estate acquisitions, sales, and development Represent Representing clients with regard to commercial leases, subleases, easements, declarations, condominiums, and other title matters Negotiate Negotiating commercial loan terms and documents Advise Advising clients on condemnation, rezoning, and land use Advise Advising clients on 1031 exchange, opportunity zone, and other tax issues Joint venture document drafting and similar capabilities Qualifications: 4-10+ years of commercial real estate experience preferred Candidates with strong residential real estate experience, including title review and negotiation of title commitments, will also be considered Must be licensed to practice law in North Carolina Licensure to practice law in South Carolina is a plus.
