Direct Counsel is seeking a Litigation Associate with 4+ years of experience to join the Litigation Department of a highly regarded law firm in Orange County. This position requires a broad-based litigation background, with strong research, analytical, and drafting skills, attention to detail, and excellent verbal and interpersonal abilities. The ideal candidate will have experience arguing motions, taking and defending depositions, and preparing cases for trial. Specific experience in commercial litigation, including breach of contract, tortious interference with contract, and breach of fiduciary duty, is required.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 4 years in broad-based litigation.
Technical Skills: Proven experience in motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation.
Specialized Skills: Background in commercial litigation, including handling issues such as breach of contract and fiduciary duties.
Education: Strong academic record.
Licensing: Active admission to the State Bar of California.
