The Role

Infrastructure Specialists at Kyndryl are project-based subject matter experts in all things infrastructure ? good at providing analysis, documenting and diagramming work for hand-off, offering timely solutions, and generally ?figuring it out.? This is a hands-on role where your feel for the interaction between a system and its environment will be invaluable to every one of your clients.

As a Cloud Security Engineer at Kyndryl, you will play a key role in specific project deliverables and will work on maintaining & improving the security posture of the environment. This is a full hands-on position that requires previous experience with cloud security tools and processes especially Cloudflare.

A day in this role:

Provide expert engineering support on Cloudflare solutions.

Manage and monitor Cloudflare console. Perform modifications that include (zone, DNS record, WAF, DDOS, redirect and transform rules, SSL and TLS changes.

Onboard and implement web security best practices on websites with Cloudflare core solutions

Optimize, deliver and cache performance with Cloudflare Core solutions

Supporting the business in general cloud security compliance recommendations.

Supporting DevOps teams in development of products and services where required.

Hands-on experience with Azure, AWS or GCP.

Proven experience in the implementation of CDN tools.

Should have experience with deployment and operation with Cloud WAF and Bot Management Technologies and protecting Web Applications.

Analyzing and developing WAF policies to optimize WAF Security on an enterprise scale.

Strong understanding of TCP/IP, Web Protocols and TLS Protocols.

Required Technical and Professional Experience

5+ years of in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Cloudflare.

Strong understanding of IT infrastructures (cloud, on-premises, containers, microservices).

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Effective communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

With bachelor's degree or master?s degree

Relevant cloud and security certifications.
