Case Manager

Responsibilities

• Create relationships with clients and guide them through the case process from intake to settlement
• Formulate treatment plans for clients ensuring they are receiving the best possible care
• Monitor cases by verifying client attendance; observing, evaluating and communicating treatments and responses; advocating for needed services and entitlements; obtaining additional resources; intervening in crisis; providing the utmost professional support
• Maintain client records by reviewing case notes; logging events and progress
• Communicates client progress by conducting weekly interdisciplinary meetings and evaluations.
• Request medical records, mail, scan and track government claim forms and manage the resolution of property damage claims
• Draft legal documents such as letters of representation and preservation of evidence
• Ensure client file is complete for demand and potential litigation
• Maintain client confidence by keeping client/attorney information confidential

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferably in criminal justice, sociology, or related studies preferred but not mandatory
• 1-3 years of case manager (pre-litigation) experience preferred but not mandatory
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building capabilities
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent telephone customer service etiquette and support
• Superior time management and capable to handle multiple cases at once
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, listening and written) and effectively organized
• Knowledge of Microsoft Suite and Google Workspace
• CASEpeer legal management software experience a plus
• Team-oriented and independently capable
• A strong desire to expand knowledge of personal injury law
