Case Manager Lead

The Law Offices of Samer Habbas & Associates, PC is seeking a motivated and experienced Case Manager Lead to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the effective management and oversight of case managers within the firm. As a Case Manager Lead, you will be responsible for facilitating communication between clients and the legal team, managing case assignments, and ensuring that our clients receive the best care and representation throughout their journey with us.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the case management team, ensuring adherence to best practices and policies.
• Provide training and guidance to case managers, assisting them in case strategy and client management.
• Review and prioritize case assignments to ensure timely and efficient handling of each case.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients and team members, ensuring clear communication regarding case status and progress.
• Monitor case progress by verifying client attendance; observing, evaluating and communicating treatments and responses; advocating for needed services and entitlements; and providing crisis intervention when necessary.
• Handle complex cases and serve as the point of escalation for challenging situations or client concerns.
• Conduct weekly meetings to discuss case updates, challenges, and strategies for improvement.
• Maintain accurate case records and documentation to support legal strategy and client care.
• Ensure the confidentiality of client information is maintained at all times.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years of case management experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership role preferred.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent telephone customer service etiquette.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite and Google Workspace.
• Experience with CASEpeer legal management software.
• Team-oriented with the capability to work independently.
• A strong desire to mentor team members and expand knowledge of personal injury law.
