Carpet Cleaning Technician

Duties:

Perform carpet cleaning services for residential and commercial clients
Utilize appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals to ensure effective and efficient cleaning
Inspect carpets for stains, damage, or other issues and determine the appropriate cleaning method
Move furniture and other items as necessary to access the carpeted areas
Vacuum, spot clean, and deep clean carpets using various techniques such as steam cleaning or dry cleaning
Remove stains and odors from carpets using specialized cleaning agents
Ensure all work is completed to high standards of quality and customer satisfaction
Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and work area

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour - Plus weekly production bonus and commission.

Expected hours: 40 per week

Requirements

Experience:

Previous experience in environmental services, carpet cleaning, or related field preferred, but will train the right candidate
Knowledge of different carpet types, fibers, and cleaning methods, or the willingness to learn the differences
Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and floor care techniques, or the willingness to learn
Ability to operate or learn to operate carpet cleaning equipment such as steam cleaners, extractors, and buffers
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify stains, damage, or other issues on carpets
Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently and meet deadlines
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
