About the Role

As a CBRE Building Automation Solutions Architect, you will lead all aspects of the development and execution of energy management programs.

This job is part of the Energy and Sustainability function. They are responsible for the development and implementation of environmental and social sustainability programs.

What You'll Do

Pre-sales activities; develop solutions based on identified and qualified opportunities brought forth by business development executives.

Maintain an in-depth solid understanding of IT infrastructures, design, IT security standard processes, and automation control systems.

Maintain an in-depth working knowledge of Niagara AX, N4, and associated components, as well as other building systems including elevator control, video surveillance, access control, lighting control, generators, and data center systems.

Perform research on connectivity options for all sub-systems that could be integrated into the BAS platform to include but not limited to; generators, meters, fire alarm systems, leak detection, AHUs, RTUs, VAVs, lighting control.

Maintain a proven understanding of all application specific controllers used by the organization and other industry solutions to construct a viable solution meeting the strategic goals identified.

Develop cost estimates according to company guidelines, rates using standard pricing and estimating tools.

Construct an accurate materials, parts and sub-contract cost structure.

Construct a complete statement of work reflecting the proposed solution and provide that SOW to the business development executive to include; technical descriptions, architectures, alternative comparisons.

Evaluate and test new technologies for potential inclusion in the solution set, collaborating with the delivery team to verify applicability and usefulness. If selected, coordinate with design, estimating, delivery, and sales teams to establish appropriate training.

Define and develop applications for software platforms such as Tridium Niagara, SkySpark, and DGLux, ensuring training for sales and delivery teams.

Assist the sales team with customer-facing events such as customer sales presentations, technology demonstrations, webinars, trade show exhibits.

What You'll Need

Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.

Willingness to take a new point of view on existing solutions.

In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mentality.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation,

including a candidate?s education, training, and experience. The minimum

salary for the Building Automation Solutions Architect position is $90,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Building Automation Solutions Architect position is $110,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a

successful candidate will depend on the candidate?s skills, qualifications,

and experience.

Successful candidates

will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE?s applicable

benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K),

Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision

insurance.
