Mayer Brown LLP?s New York office is seeking an Associate or Staff Attorney with at least 5+ years of experience to support the firm?s Broker-Dealer Regulatory & Compliance practice. Candidates should have experience with some of the following: Broker-dealer regulatory and compliance matters arising under federal and state securities laws and self-regulatory organization (FINRA, securities exchanges, clearing agencies) rules Broker-dealer financial responsibility rules, including SEC Rules 15c3-1 and 15c3-3 Broker-dealer registration and transactional matters Examinations, investigations and enforcement actions FINRA advertising issues Trade reporting Digital assets and distributed ledger technology Superior academic credentials and excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills are required. Please note in the comments section if you?re applying for a staff attorney or counsel-level position. The NY salary for an associate position is $365,000 to $435,000 and for a staff attorney $105,000 to $140,000, although the actual salary could be lower or higher if the candidate?s skills and experience level are different from those specified below.
