Overview Medical Assistant Locations:?St. Petersburg, FL 33710, and Largo, FL 33777 Schedule:?Full-time, Up to 40 hours per week Pay Range?$20?$22?per hour Job Description We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our busy OB/GYN practice serving patients in St. Petersburg and Largo, Florida. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and organizational skills, maintain a professional appearance, and demonstrate a positive and energetic attitude while delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced women?s health environment. Responsibilities

• Patient Care:?Room patients, prepare them for examinations and procedures, and assist providers during visits?
• Clinical Duties:?Obtain and document vital signs, perform blood draws, collect specimens, and administer injections?
• Provider Support:?Assist OB/GYN providers during examinations and in-office procedures?
• Medical Documentation:?Maintain accurate patient records and update information in the electronic health record (EHR) system?
• Patient Experience:?Provide compassionate, professional, and patient-centered care in a fast-paced office environment?
• Communication & Teamwork:?Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and staff while supporting smooth clinic flow?
• Organization & Compliance:?Maintain clean, stocked, and organized exam rooms while following HIPAA and safety protocols?
• Additional Support:?Assist with front office and other clinical duties as needed

• Healthcare Experience:?Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a medical office or healthcare administrative setting?
• Certification:?Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), or completion of an accredited program resulting in a certificate or associate degree in Medical Assisting
• Clinical Skills:?Comfortable performing in-office blood draws and other basic clinical duties
• Bilingual Skills:?Bilingual in English and Spanish?
• Organization & Teamwork:?Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively as part of a team?
• Communication:?Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients, providers, and staff at all levels?
• Multitasking:?Demonstrated ability to prioritize responsibilities and manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment?
• Technical Skills:?Proficiency with computers, EHR/EMR systems, and Microsoft Office applications?
• Professionalism:?Positive attitude, strong work ethic, punctuality, and compassionate approach to patient care?
• Confidentiality:?Ability to maintain confidentiality, handle sensitive situations professionally, and de-escalate when needed?
• Commute:?Ability to reliably commute to both office locations in St. Petersburg and Largo, FL?
• Work Authorization:?Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future?

• Women?s Health Experience:?Prior OB/GYN or women?s health experience?
• EHR Knowledge:?Experience with ATHENAHEALTH?
