Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, is seeking a Whole Life Engineering (WLE) Contractor Inventory Control Point (C-ICP) Item Engineer. As an Item Engineer, you will work with the Whole Life Engineering (WLE) Contractor Inventory Control Point (C-ICP) team in a fast-paced environment where accuracy is a must to support material movement in and out of the Largo, FL facility to achieve on-time deliveries.

What You Will Do

Perform regular inventory of CICP assets onsite in the Largo, FL facility as well as offsite audits of assets located in other Collins Aerospace facilities

Update inventory database as items move throughout the factory and are Work in Progress (WIP)

Monitor Automated Logistics Control System (ALCS) for ILSS requisitions

Work with the Depot Operations Program Manager to identify replacement assets

Customer coordination and status on inventory reportable to Defense Priorities & Allocations System (DPAS)

Monthly/Quarterly customer inventories

Perform partial and full asset inventories

Up to 10% travel to include international travel also

Qualifications You Must Have

Minimum of 2 years relevant Engineering/Quality/Operations experience

Ability to work with multiple databases and provide enhancement inputs to database development team

Office 365 efficiency with a focus on advanced Excel ability

Organizational skills and attention-to-detail

Effective communication skills for interaction with internal and external customers

Problem-solving abilities to create efficient solutions

Strong organization, problem solving, time management and communications skills

Ability to communicate effectively with program management, functional leads, and customer

Ability to work both independently to accomplish tasking and as part of a team

Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience

The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer

Experience as a logistician

Previous audit/compliance experience

Prior experience with SAP based toolsets (e.g. PRISM)

Common Product Data Management (PDM) experience

Previous experience in an external, customer-facing role

Prior experience supporting proposals and/or contractual submittals

Experience on Protected Communication Systems (PCS) Hardware

Capable of reading and understanding contractual requirements in Statement of Work (SOW)/Contractual Letters of Direction (LoD)

Mission/Quality Assurance, Operations Program Manager, or Factory Based Lead Role (MA/OPM/ManfE)

Employee Referral Eligible

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate?s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
