Bartender

We are looking for a friendly, courteous and reliable person to join our dynamic team here at Tween Waters Island Resort & Spa. We are looking to hire a Bartender for our famous Crow's Nest Steakhouse restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess a sound knowledge of whiskeys, bourbons and cocktails.

Full-time and part-time evening shifts; Tuesday thru Saturday including holidays.

Education requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED certificate
• Experience in Bartending
• Serve Safe Food Handler certification (preferred)

Job Requirements:

• Ability to interact constructively and cordially with guests
• Be able to memorize menu items, answer related questions and make menu suggestions
• Should possess proper wine service skills
• A sound knowledge of bourbon & whiskey is preferred
• Be able to take orders efficiently and enter them in a timely and accurate fashion in the MICROS POS system
• Ensure the timely and correct delivery of beverages to our guests
• Adhere to recipes and presentations for beverage items
• Ability to process payments accurately
• Willingness and ability to complete side work as required
• Ability to multi-task and work in a high-volume setting
• Maintain clean and sanitized workstations
• Follow health and safety guidelines
• Maintain stock supplies
• Thorough completion and documentation of assigned opening and closing procedures
• Assisting as directed in the set-up and / or breakdown of function areas
• Punctuality and consistent attendance including attendance at daily line-ups
• Contribute to a positive team environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $9.98 per hour plus Tips
