About the Bankruptcy & Restructuring Practice Mintz?s Bankruptcy & Restructuring Practice represents clients in workouts, out-of-court restructurings, Chapter 11 and Chapter 9 bankruptcy cases and related federal and state court litigation. Our practice covers all aspects of bankruptcy, restructuring and creditors rights law including representing secured and unsecured creditors, unsecured creditors? committees, bondholders and ad-hoc bondholder committees, indenture trustees, chapter 11 debtors and various other parities in insolvency and distress related litigation and out-of-court restructurings. Responsibilities: Candidates should have at least one year of business bankruptcy and restructuring experience, including in-court Chapter 11 practice and out-of-court restructurings. Strong research and writing skills are critical. Collaboration with team members is an important component of any role at Mintz. Therefore, the firm requires working from the office approximately 60% of the time in accordance with the firm?s published guidelines. Qualifications: Graduated with a JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school Admitted or eligible for admission in Massachusetts or New York At least one year of bankruptcy and restructuring experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills Professionalism in working and engaging with demanding clients Ability to balance and prioritize multiple competing priorities and responsibilities Ability to stay organized and exercise extreme attention to detail Ability to collaborate and work effectively in team settings About Mintz Mintz is an Am Law 100 law firm with over 600 attorneys serving clients worldwide.
