JOB SUMMARY Kutak Rock, LLP seeks an associate to join the Real Estate and Finance department in Omaha, NE. The ideal candidate will have an interest in developing their knowledge and skills in complex business, real estate and asset-based finance transactions; specialty finance transactions; real estate development and leasing; and affordable housing while working closely with experienced partners. RESPONSIBILITIES Draft financial documents Review and manage real estate-related due diligence Review leasing and purchase/sale documentation QUALIFICATIONS: Skills and Abilities Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to apply critical thinking and possess a high attention to detail Exceptional research, writing, and analytical skills Self-motivated with a strong work ethic Ability and confidence to work independently while thriving in a collaborative, team environment Commitment to achieving the goals of Firm clients QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Experience Currently admitted to practice in Nebraska with an active bar license in good standing or able to be admitted within one year required Experience in real estate or corporate finance transactional matters in a law firm or corporate legal department preferred Candidates with excellent academic record given preference Position Information Status: Exempt Salary Range: $130,000-$150,000 base, per year, commensurate with education and experience Work Arrangement: Hybrid Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Dependent Life, Disability, and Accidental Death & Dismemberment insurance.
