Our Practice.
Our Labor & Employment Practice Group counsels employers in labor and employment matters in four broad categories: day-to-day employment counseling, training and auditing; advising on employment aspects of corporate transactions; employment litigation; and traditional labor law. Our clients include public and private employers ranging from Fortune 500 companies, to private equity investors, to small, locally-owned businesses across a wide variety of industries. Our attorneys work closely with our corporate attorneys on issues that overlap both areas, such as non-compete agreements, severance pay, downsizing, collective bargaining, family leave laws, and age and disability discrimination. We also provide our clients with valuable information on best practices, developments and trends in all areas of employment law.

We are seeking a 3rd-5th year Labor & Employment Associate with significant experience providing counsel to employers and dealing with employment aspects of corporate transactions to join our team in our Nashville office. Candidates must have interest in working directly with clients, taking responsibility for management of employment counseling matters, and working collaboratively across practice groups. The successful candidate is a self-starter with a strong work ethic who prefers a team approach to the practice of law and considers providing excellent service and results to clients their primary goal.
