Join us in a highly sophisticated legal practice representing sexual abuse survivors in Catholic Church bankruptcies and other complex litigation. Burns Bair LLP is a boutique trial firm specializing in high-stakes, plaintiff-side commercial and insurance litigation. We are on a mission to force churches, insurers, and other institutions to fairly compensate survivors of sexual abuse. The majority of our work currently involves representing sexual abuse survivors in bankruptcy proceedings and in bankruptcy-related insurance litigation. We have been retained as Special Insurance Counsel in diocesan bankruptcies across the country, including the dioceses of San Francisco, Santa Rosa, and Oakland, California, and Buffalo, Syracuse, Rochester, Albany, Rockville-Centre, and Ogdensburg, New York.
