Are you a detail-oriented attorney looking to build a well-rounded in-house career? Join our Legal team as Assistant General Counsel, where you'll play a key role in drafting and managing contracts, supporting litigation and handling receiverships. You'll also help identify process improvements to make our legal operations stronger and more efficient.

What You'll Do:

Contract Management

  • Draft, review, and negotiate leases and vendor and service agreements.
  • Assist with maintaining templates and approval workflows.
  • Advise internal stakeholders on contract terms and associated risks.

Receivership Support

  • Assist in managing legal aspects of court-appointed receiverships.
  • Coordinate with courts and internal teams.
  • Attend occasional court hearings and help ensure compliance with reporting and documentation requirements.

Litigation Support

  • Support litigation and dispute resolution efforts in coordination with outside counsel.
  • Assist with discovery, subpoenas, timelines, and legal file management.

Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to streamline legal workflows and increase consistency.
  • Support development and implementation of new tools and processes to enhance team effectiveness.

What You'll Bring:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • In good standing as a member of at least one state bar.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in a law firm, in-house legal department, or public agency.
  • Exposure to leases, litigation, or receiverships is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail, clear communication, and a practical, business-minded approach.
