Job Description
Who We Are:
The Normal Brand is a family owned, fast-growing, apparel company that operates online and in over 500 stores across the world. We believe that we can make someone's day better by greeting them with a smile, handing them a cold beverage, and selling them a sharp outfit. Welove competitors who make winning fun for everyone around them. Energy, positivity, and hunger are massively important in this role. Written and verbal communication is crucial for us to scale quickly and successfully.
What We Are Looking For:

The Allocator collaborates with Planning, Merchandising, and Operations teams to make data-driven decisions that directly impact the success of our brick-and-mortar locations.
Responsibilities:
Allocate products to stores at minimum weekly based on business strategies, sales trends, and inventory levels, ensuring optimal assortments by location
Assist Planning and Allocation Manager in forecasting weekly replenishments for both stores and warehouse partners' labor planning
Assist Planning and Allocation Manager with demand planning
Analyze sales performance, sell-through, and inventory data to identify opportunities and risks, adjusting allocations to respond to customer demand
Partner with Planning, Merchandising, and Store Operations teams to align on inventory strategies and seasonal objectives
Create and communicate pre-season allocation strategy to cross-functional partners
Prepare and present weekly reporting on allocation performance, in-stocks, inventory health, and sales trends
Act as a key point of contact for store leaders, addressing inventory-related concerns and providing solutions to optimize stock levels
Work with store leaders on special event allocations
Create recommended new-store allocation plans
Act as a voice for the stores during pre-season planning process, identifying and quantifying opportunities
Continuously seek ways to improve allocation processes and drive efficiencies
Assist Planning and Allocation Manager with projects as needed
Requirements
Above all, a person who joins our team must be three things: humble, hungry, smart (we stole that from a book written by a guy much smarter than us). In addition to the humble, hungry, and smart requirements for all teammates, for this role we are looking for:
1 + years of experience in allocation, inventory management, or planning in a retail environment (Apparel experience is preferred)
Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, merchandising, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for data-driven decision-making- doesn't accept the first answer as the best answer
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across teams
Entrepreneurial and positive "can-do" mentality
