Job Description
We are seeking an experienced senior internal auditor to join our company. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting annual audits, analyzing accounting data, preparing tax documents, and collaborating with the auditing team to develop financial strategies.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead the full audit cycle by reviewing tax compliance, verifying financial records, and examining accounts
- Analyze audit results and propose solutions to improve ineffective financial practices to management
- Evaluate accounting procedures, payroll, inventory, and tax statements to guide financial decision-making
- Conduct risk assessments and recommend measures to avoid financial risks and save costs
- Follow up with management to ensure corrective actions are implemented in the company's financial processes
- Supervise junior auditing staff and incorporate their research into the audit process
- Prepare and review annual audit reports
- Research federal and state laws and regulations to ensure compliance with financial records
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification
- At least 5 years of experience in accounting or auditing
- Thorough knowledge of auditing standards, procedures, laws, rules, and regulations
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Proficiency in using auditing software, such as CAMS and AuditBoard
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Ability to work with complex financial data
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
