Job Description

We are looking for a new purchasing associate to join our company. Your job will be to buy all the equipment, supplies, and services that our company needs. You will need to make sure you are staying within our budget and build good relationships with our suppliers. You will also need to keep a detailed record of all the things we buy.

To be successful in this role, you should be good at talking to people and have great customer service skills. You should also know a lot about business and understand how buying things works.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create purchase orders and buy things for the company within our budget.
  • Talk to suppliers and do research to find the best things for our company to buy.
  • Keep track of all the invoices, purchase orders, and contracts in a database.
  • Build good relationships with our suppliers.
  • Check for mistakes in documents before sending them to the accounting department.
  • Track orders and let managers know if there are any problems with deliveries.
  • Handle urgent requests and speed up orders when needed.
  • Create reports every month and year for the managers to review.
  • Make sure everything we buy meets our company's standards and follows laws.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • A college degree in finance, business, or a similar field.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a purchasing associate or in a similar role.
  • Good understanding of financial practices and how buying things works.
  • Familiarity with purchasing management software, such as Fraxion, Pipefy, and Precoro.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with coworkers, suppliers, and managers.
  • Very careful attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Great organization and time-management skills.
