We are seeking a kind and compassionate Personal Care Assistant to support clients who have physical, emotional, or cognitive impairments. Your responsibilities will include completing basic household tasks, assisting with personal hygiene, and providing companionship.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide support, companionship, and comfort to clients who have limited mobility, are recovering from an illness, or are frail.
- Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and assist with exercise routines as directed.
- Report any changes in a client's physical, mental, or emotional condition to the appropriate parties.
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, such as going to the bathroom, bathing, dressing, and brushing teeth.
- Engage clients in appropriate activities, such as playing games, going for walks, or having conversations.
- Complete basic household tasks, including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
- Help with household finances, bills, and errands as needed.
- Accompany clients on outings and arrange transportation for medical appointments.
- Provide support with mobility, including helping with walking aids and wheelchairs.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe living environment for clients.
Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred completion of a National Caregiver Certification Course (NCCC).
- At least two years of experience in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of best practices for providing personal care.
- Available to work varying hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Experience administering prescribed medications and treatments.
- Extensive experience assisting clients with mobility and personal hygiene.
- Able to perform household tasks, prepare meals, manage finances, and run errands.
- Excellent communication skills, a caring approach, and physically fit.
- Able to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
