We are looking for a skilled NOC technician to join our team at the network operations center. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving network problems, maintaining our network infrastructure, and working with our IT team to enhance network performance.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the IT team to develop and maintain network infrastructure
  • Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshoot network issues, and resolve them
  • Maintain internet domains and improve intranet performance
  • Conduct diagnostic tests on communication between computers, routers, modems, and servers
  • Install, configure, and update networking equipment for end-users
  • Optimize server capacity and performance to handle network traffic
  • Create data security, backup, archiving, and retrieval procedures
  • Train junior IT staff and provide remote technical support to on-site field technicians

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information science, or a specialization in network engineering
  • Certification as a Cisco, CompTIA, or Microsoft network professional preferred
  • At least two years of experience as a NOC technician or in a similar role
  • Advanced knowledge of network technologies, connectivity, protocols, and security
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration abilities
