Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Test the designs virtually using computer simulations and experiments.
  • Oversee the production of physical prototypes for testing.
  • Keep track of the design process, changes made, and test results.
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets.
  • Work with clients, designers, engineers, and manufacturers to make sure everything is working together.
  • Write technical reports, design documents, and manuals.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a mechanical design engineer.
  • PE certification is a plus.
  • Proficiency with design software like AutoCAD, Solidworks, and Rhino.
  • In-depth knowledge of engineering and design principles.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
